Now that you mention it, I too agree the art was a little "cartoony." It would've been nice to have a darker realism to the story, perhaps like the art in Civil War. Oh well, it was still colorful...
Oh, and I'm of the party that thinks Northstar and Aurora will return to the school to teach. Northstar had a bond with his students, and Aurora needs a family-like atmosphere sans nuns. Just seems...
Oh...my...god. What a relief that they're finally cured! If they had stayed brain-washed assassins...well, I'm trying not to think about that, lol. I must say I was actually really impressed with...
Hmm, well that is a royal bummer. Perhaps they'll make an Alpha Flight movie way way down the line...'crosses fingers.' It's cool though that they'll be incorporating Victor Creed into the Wolvie...
I know this has been discussed before but I'd rather not sift through postings for it. Does anyone know if Marvel is planning to use their "new" storyline for the Wolverine prequel movie that...
Yea, I think during the whole "Oh my body is possessed by Emma Frost" incident in Uncanny X-Men a while back, Iceman discovered he has all this untapped power and has the potential to be one of the...
Wow! Amazing replies, people. Thank you so much! I have to admit my knowledge of Canada is limited to the Alpha Flight comics and what research I could do online (I know, I know, horrible). Oh,...
I just realized this thread is in the totally wrong section. My apologies. Anyone know how to move it?
What's your favorite Canadian major city and why?
I've only been to Niagra Falls, so I can't justly answer my own thread. Shame, I know! I'd LOVE to see Montreal. How about you all, though? ...
Albeit issue 4 out of 6 in this storyarc, you have to admit this is moving along pretty slowly. We just found out who the Children are, and let's face it, they haven't done much on their own except...
What gives? Where's the resolution for Northstar and Aurora? They were mentioned once in this issue, and not even as a pertinent part of the story. I distinctly recall the writers commenting that...
Ditto, Phil. Couldn't have said it better myself.
Jumping ahead a tad, but does anyone know if Northstar will be revisited in #8? A lot of his recent happenings need some updating. Perhaps they'll wait until he's done being brainwashed and isn't a...
Oh, and you're both totally right. A Hudson Duo appearance would be such a nice touch. They're the ones who really explored the dichotomy of Wolverine's feral and human nature. It'd really give...
Ugh, that Sabretooth. He needs a life! I wonder how much of the pseudo-recent "Origin" series will be incorporated into the film. I know some people got really annoyed with the fact Wolverine...
With the upcoming film "Wolverine" on the 2007/2008 cinema roster, does anyone know if Alpha Flight is going to make an appearance? "Wolverine" is slotted to be an origin story for the title...
Yea, how one can alter the DNA sequence that quickly also baffles me. The only way I can reason Northstar and Aurora's DNA would revert is if The Children used artificial magnification...
