Hulk is simply the strongest because he has no cap on his strength. His base strength is about 60 tons, so if Hulk is relatively calm, Sasquatch could beat him. But angry Hulk? The most unstoppable...

I see Paul Gross as a more obvious Major Mapleleaf, but I'm thinking a movie wouldn't use him. Probably centre around the Great Beasts storyline. So he'd work as Mac.

They generally won't give first looks if it gives away key details and that often includes conclussion issues.

Doom Patrol's has been, so to compair the two, you're saying that Alpha's has been as well. Alpha Flight has fit the marvel model of not wasting time with continuity but not flagrantly contradicting...

The issue was great fun, nice progression as we see the Plodex's plan. Get som good fight scenes as well as strong character moments. Henry's art continues to rock. Just a good book all round.

But Alpha is a new title. Iron Man won't get cancelled, while Alpha has no such buffer. After Thanos was cancelled with decent sales, all bets are off.

It's frustrating because I would buy Alpha Flight to issue 100 and beyond, but won't get the chance.
