Totally agree.
I for one am so sick and tired of comics just reverting back to the way they were.

Honestly, if it was to change direction, it would probably have a hard time holding my interest...
I have this weird thing, after a while of not reading a comic I tend to question whether or not I need to still read it. So I didn't buy AF 6 the week it came out, had to trim more than a few titles...
Hulk is simply the strongest because he has no cap on his strength. His base strength is about 60 tons, so if Hulk is relatively calm, Sasquatch could beat him. But angry Hulk? The most unstoppable...
I see Paul Gross as a more obvious Major Mapleleaf, but I'm thinking a movie wouldn't use him. Probably centre around the Great Beasts storyline. So he'd work as Mac.
They generally won't give first looks if it gives away key details and that often includes conclussion issues.
Still a pisser.
Because Spawn crushed Marvel comic in sales. Because the Image creators wanted the freedom to be actual artists. The catch 22 is this. To provide great art, it is very difficult to do an issue in 30...
It's always the concludding chapter isn't it?
Oh well, Henry's pencils are worth it.
Why buy a book if you don't love it though?
Surely if you spend hard earned money on something month in month out, that gives you the right to be disappointed when you lose it?
My problem was...
I read something about him having a squad of his own. Wonder what he'll call his. Beta Flight maybe.
As for the terrorist idea, it isn't hard to read up on the Quebecois perpective, there are more...
I think you're being a tad harsh on people here.
Not everybody's tastes are the same as yours, and people have the freedom to buy what they enjoy.
If you dont care about someone elses favourite...
I just can't bring myself to care. I just think to the people upset, where were you when Wildcats Version 3.0 was canned? Where were you when Miller was making Iron Man an awesome character and...
Who cares, it's the best cover of the month!
I don't care for Sears, but his style should work amazingly well on characters like Sabertooth and Sasquatch, so I like him as the choice for this mini.
X-Force and Liefeld are designed for 13 year old boys, Sadly, not many of them read comics any more, so what the market?
Sweet cover. Doop looks AWESOME!
Bloody inflation makes it so a reasonable tip is five bucks...
Actually, I have no idea how things work in strip clubs...
Thunder may have powers beyond flight, such as a heating system for...
A perfect example of the negative side of a great story. That story is so influential on the Avengers mythos and the definative Janet and Hank story, that the characters have never really been...
I know when the book was first announced Clayton mentioned that he'd never actually maintained a monthly schedule before. So I'm not surprised that he needs a fill-in. I do hope it is just a fill in...
Doom Patrol's has been, so to compair the two, you're saying that Alpha's has been as well. Alpha Flight has fit the marvel model of not wasting time with continuity but not flagrantly contradicting...
The issue was great fun, nice progression as we see the Plodex's plan. Get som good fight scenes as well as strong character moments. Henry's art continues to rock. Just a good book all round.
How has Alpha Flight destroyed continuity?
But Alpha is a new title. Iron Man won't get cancelled, while Alpha has no such buffer. After Thanos was cancelled with decent sales, all bets are off.
It's frustrating because I would buy Alpha Flight to issue 100 and beyond, but won't get the chance.
