Well I imagine the majority of comic book writers and artists that work for Marvel, have at least been to San Diego due to SDCC.

Pretty much what I was thinking. Would love to see (San Diego, especially, since this where I have grown up) in a comic, and see recognizable landmarks.

I live (and have lived) in San Diego most of my life. Spain, because that's where I am from. :)
