I found Puck and Heather distasteful.

Eugene was so greatful to Mac for all he'd done for him; the last thing he'd do would be to jump on Heather as soon as he died.

For me, Nicieza's run derailed one character in particular, ruining him for me for life, crapping over Byrne's writing more than anything Mantlo ever did.

I think that Mantlo's run was the worst run of the volume simply because it was the longest.
