That was three possible evolutions of the same character, as per the other panels.
The character was the new Imperial Guard Smasher
Omega Flight aren't in the next few issues.
I've followed this series since #1 and I'm loving it, and I've never enjoyed Avengers titles as a whole.
It's definitely got that big epic picture feel...
It's one of those books that people either really enjoy or hate; at least on the internet anyway.

Does it actually say in the arc that AF are working for the government?
To my recollection it says...
We don't actually know that there is an Alpha Flight after the events of Volume 4; they were outlaws, shut down by the government and had no official status. Although then that means the Hulk:Mayan...
I think that even after Vol.4 being 'not-extended' AF are in a better position and held in more regard than they were after the end of Vol.3 so I doubt they'll be killed off, on-panel or not.
Because this time around AF are too relevant to just be killed off, so characters have been created for the sole reason of sacrificial lambs.
Well, I know it's a month off still, but is anyone interested in reviewing this issue when it comes out?
If you can't get to a store on the day a legal Digital Copy can be sent your way.
Well, so far all it's just
