If you still need it after Ben's post, I can probably arrange one. I know I've got the original (in, what, Avengers #290?).
I'm about to head for the coast for the weekend. In the middle of winter.
So it'll have to wait 'til I get back, but I can probably arrange it.

I've got it! Uploaded to the advert gallery here:

Nice one Rob. I can always count on you.
Now; have you got the advert for Dave Ross coming on board AF?
 It wasn't a challenge!
Don't go to any trouble; I just wondered if you already had it on your harddrive as I couldn't find it online.
I can probably scan one the next time I'm at my home pc.
LOL well it's not on my hard drive. Sorry about that. What issue has it?
I don't remember it being in any issues of AF specifically, I took this one from Hulk #322 (Aug '86):

They're not the greatest of quality so feel free to upload your own.
Ah, Challenge Completed. Flightpath07, it was on my hard drive. Neeners. I got thrown off because Dave Ross started with Alpha Flight #35 which had a cover date of Jun 1986 and this advert was published in several Aug 1986 comics to advertise comics coming out Sep 1986 and later. Phil called this "Dave Ross coming on board AF" so I was looking for an image BEFORE Jun 1986, not after. For the record, this scan is from the inside back cover of Marvel Age #41. The covers from comics of that era were glossy and hold up great over time as opposed to the crap newsprint papers inside. Just look at the difference in the scans from above to this one.

It's too bad Talaoc was his inker. I saw Ross' work on a Star Trek annual (about Kirk's first mission on the Enterprise) before he came to Alpha and it was freakin' incredible, but Talaoc's inks just didn't work on the Alpha run IMOH.
DIGGER
I have that issue, DIGGER! I will pull it out and investigate. Thanks for the tip!
It was DC Star Trek Annual #1 cover dated 1985.
DIGGER
I believe he is also Canadian. Now here's a question... what happened to Dave Ross?
DIGGER
Nevermind. Went to his website (duh). Man, I forgot just how damn good he is. Would love to see him doing Alpha Flight again.
