These trademark rumours are starting to get out of control...
It's just our wild hopes getting away from us.
The other thread listed several of the trademarks in question; some of those 'movies' never got beyond rumour stage (Black Panther), some didn't even get that far (Strikeforce Morituri).

To be fair, this article did mention that an Alpha Flight movie (or tv show, or cartoon, or whatever) seemed fairly unlikely. It was chalked up to Marvel wanting to keep anybody else from getting their hands on AF.

The original trademark from 1983 won't expire until 2033 so it wasn't to stop people from getting their hands on it, merely that in 1983 no-one had dreamed of digital comics.

Probably because of all the stuff that's going on with the MCU at the moment - Guardians of the Galaxy about to be put out, the Sharon Carter, Daredevil, Jessica Jones (?), Power Man and Iron Fist TV serieses, Dr Strange, people are paying attention.Quote:
