Marrina appears in a cameo, just one panel. She's a floating head in a dream sequence, very similar to the cameo in Namor #36 (Mar 1993) when she also appeared in a dream sequence.

The story behind the comic is very strange - the pencils were found with no script, and Fabian Nicieza (the original writer) was unable to remember it, so Kurt Busiek made up a script to fit what he thought was going on.... and it's a hoot! Sort of like what Alpha Flight fans do when we see Dale Eaglesham's unlettered art in previews. He just made up what he thought might be going on and it's just hysterical, I love it!

To be fair, I'm glad you posted it as it was one of the few issues I didn't flick through yesterday.

I thought the issue was...okay. This was really not my favourite team of Defenders, I preferred it when the team had the lesser lights on it.
