Astonishing X-Men Hardcover

I have to assume this has been mentioned before, but if so, I'm reposting anyway. If not, we're all a little slack!

I just got my copy of the Astonishing X-Men hardcover. (See, the thread title's not just a pretty name!)
In the end, it reprints an interview with artist John Cassaday:

"Spotlight: Were you a big X-Men growing up? If so, what era did you cut your teeth on?

John: The entire Dark Phoenix story, the Alpha Flight appearances, pretty much the entire Claremont / Byrne run."
