ICV2 have published the estimated sales figures for the month of October 2014, for Comic sales via Diamond to the North American Direct Market, which includes the placement of Amazing X-Men #12, the final part of World War Wendigo, guest-starring Alpha Flight:
    90 27.74 AMAZING X-MEN #12 $3.99 MAR 32,966

    and in previous months:

    AMAZING X-MEN #11 34,552
    AMAZING X-MEN #10 36,405
    AMAZING X-MEN #9 40,562
    AMAZING X-MEN #8 41,613

    AMAZING X-MEN #7 42,512
    AMAZING X-MEN #6 45,095
    AMAZING X-MEN #5 46,242
    AMAZING X-MEN #4 48,161
    AMAZING X-MEN #3 51,431
    AMAZING X-MEN #2 60,780
    AMAZING X-MEN #1 112,337

The series is dropping readers quite heavily on a regular basis now, which isn't a great indication for Alpha Flight being able to support a new ongoing based on this guest appearance alone, at least not without a major creative-team behind the book.
With Amazing X-Men reaching figures close to Astonishing X-Men before it's demise I wouldn't be surprised to see this title being cancelled soon unfortunately. Although that may free Northstar up for 2015...

Also of interest; the Windshear(/Chinook) guest appearance in The Logan Legacy #2 sold 48,795 so a few more people will have seen that.

Yeah, I knew comics' sales tended to drop off after the first issue, but this is a constant decline. This does not look good for our heroes!

I just graphed it, and after the #1-2 slump, the drop is relatively steady.

      A couple of anecdotes:
For some reason, I don't have #13. I'll have to try to pick it up next SOD, which will be hard to deal with this time of year (I don't know when my next SOD will be.)

Also, last SOD, last Saturday, I picked up an issue of Nightcrawler and an issue of Amazing X-Men. The Nightcrawler had all the X-Men in it, and the X-Men only had Nightcrawler.

Seems to me like declining comics are a regular thing. Which Marvel series are not declining in sales? Is there an easy way to find that out?

ICv2 usually keep a general track on things at http://icv2.com/articles/markets/
Comichron have more analysis at www.comichron.com/monthlycomicssales.html

For a specific Marvel rate The Beat do a very nice monthly comparison: http://comicsbeat.com/marvel-month-t...ariant-themes/
