    Just ahead of the Marvel July solicitations being launched, Rich Johnston over at Bleeding Cool has posted some advance covers including Alpha Flight #2 Standard (without trade-dress) AND Variant.

      Probably standard price for both, don't quote me on that. They are both excellent covers, but that Puck image stands out.

      I was hoping for Shaman to be in a variation of his black and white outfit but I am very glad Aurora will be in the gold and white.

      There's a few things we can infer from the first cover:
      Heather's in it! Yay!
      The team are fighting each other.
      Walter's left the te-
      What are you talking about?
      Sasquatch. Big guy. Furry.
      I know who you mean, but what do you mean left?
      Well, he's not in the picture, is he?
      He's right there.
      Where's Walter?
      You did not just say that.
      Oh, I went there. And now you're just stalling.
      You'd like to think that, wouldn't you?

      But it has worked. You've given everything away; I know where the Sasquatch is! He's right there behind Aurora and Mac!

      You're just mad because they used the realistic orange sky. Look out your window sometime.
      I'm facing a window now. The sky's kind of a light, mottled grey. I've never seen an orange sky.
      Never looked at a sunset? And you think I'm evil.
      I've seen sunsets. And sunrises. The sky's streaked at best. And, yes, I've lived through my entire state burning down. Orange was not the colour du jour.

      It's not anything major, but I just noticed something about the Eaglesham Puck cover. A couple of the shadows of the bars on his chest, weren't blacked in...Like I said, nothing major.
