• Alpha Flight To Return In May

    That's right Flight fans; fresh from their return in Chaos War and spinning out of the events of Fear Itself today Marvel announced an 8 issue series (plus a 0.1 issue in May) from the Chaos War & Incredible Hercules writing team of Greg Pak & Fred Van Lente!



    On art duties for the 0.1 issue is Ben Oliver, with Dale Eaglesham, Drew Hennessy and Morry Hollowell for the 8 issue series, along with covers by Phil Jimenez!

      Awwww yeah. FVL was always my number one choice to write and to snag Dale as artist is just icing. I was SO happy at the end of Chaos War that Alpha still stood there. 8 issue maxi series, such great, great news.

      The artist Dale Eaglesham is Canadian and based on his rendition of Northstar, this series has the potential to be awesome!

      Welcome back team! You've been missed!

      With Northstar joining the team from Utopia, hopefully Madison Jefferies (Box), Talisman and Wolverine join up with them sometime after this initial limited series.

      Thank you Marvel! Finally something going on at the House of Ideas that I want to spend money on. Hopefully if the series continues they can rescue Persuasion out of the X-abyss and bring her in to a new Beta Flight.

      I love this! It's the way to get over the 'They're just the Canadian Xvengers, the only hook is they're Canadian' - he was hooked without knowing that.
      I also love that this article was put together by somebody who really knows their stuff!

      There is an X-Men: Alpha Flight hardcover listed at Marvel coming out in May 4th. Anyone know what that is about? No info is available.
