Synopsis: Judd berates his own team for fighting the Wrecking crew and causing damage to Toronto (last iss.).
Wyre attacks Hardliners who invaded Mansion Alpha (last iss.), and one shoots Knapp's cocoon. Inside, Knapp's other selves sacrifice their own energies to save his life, and the cocoon lights up. Knapp comes out, alive, healthy, and alone.
Louis, chased by other Hardliners, seeks refuge with Alpha Flight. Hardliners attack; Alpha Flight smash.
Heather makes it clear: if Hagon's bill is law, Alpha Flight will have to enforce it, or else the Hardliners will. All but Nemesis determine to remain in the team.
